Chassis / Fabrication

The Venice Speed Shop is known for its beautiful chassis work which includes everything from a full-tube frame for Don Simpson's "Killer Coupe" (shown above), or General Motor's Bonneville racing team cars, to the installation of an electronically-controlled, fuel-injected Chrysler Hemi in the boxed stock chassis of Chuck de Heras' '40 Ford Coupe, or the restoration of a historic chassis such as that of Bruce Meyer's Bob McGee Roadster.

Chevrolets 2006 HHR Bonneville Racer was built completely at SO-CAL Speed Shop. (shown above)

Micellaneous Fabrication

While Venice Speed Shop specializes in automotive restoration and construction, it is equally adept at other types of one-off fabrication. For example, Venice Speed Shop recently had the opportunity to work with renowned designer Fred Hidalgo in the creation of a flathead Ford V8-powered reception desk for the head office of Epitaph Records.
